  • What are the documents required for meeting eligibility criterion?
    • Age Proof: is required for all admissions and the following are considered in the order of priority
      • SSC / 10th Class/ school leaving certificate where in Date of Birth is printed
      • Birth Certificate issued by competent Authority
      • Evidence as per the Passport copy
      • Exceptional case is for those who are not in a position to produce the above and want to seek admission under Open System Category (18 years and above stream) are permitted to produce Notarized Date of Birth Certificate
    • For Admission into Graduation programs: 12th std certificate
    • For Admission into PG programmes:
      • Graduation Original Degree / Provisional Certificate
      • Memorandum of Marks Certificate of the Qualifying Examination
      • Migration Certificate for PG Programmes if the candidate obtained UG Degree from other University (If Migration Certificate cannot be produced, Domestic Applicants are required to pay Rs. 100/- extra to ANU towards recognition fee. International Students need not pay this extra fee.)
    • Passport size photograph
    • NRI / Foreign students shall submit additional documents as specified.
  • Should original documents be scanned and uploaded for online form?

    Yes. Originals should not be sent by post. However, verification of original certificates before the completion of the course is compulsory either at ANU office or at ANU designated centers.

  • How many photocopies of the documents should be submitted to University? What about photographs? How many?

    One set of Photocopies and 3 Passport size Photographs

  • Does the document have to be attested? By whom?

    Photocopies must be attested by a Gazetted Officer / Principal / Gazetted Head Master / Notary For overseas students the photocopies must be notarized in their respective countries of residence.

  • Will the examinations be conducted online?

    No, the exams will be conducted at designated Test Centres.

  • What is the break up (if any) between term end exams and assignments?
    • Every Course has been given specific break up of awarding marks for assignments and Semester end/Year end Examinations as mentioned in the Course Structure given for each Course.
    • 30 marks for Assignments and 70 marks for term end exam for each paper.
  • Are there any entrance exams for MBA courses?

    Yes. Entrance Test is compulsory for admission into MBA. Test will be online. Test date, center and time will be notified to the registered candidates by SMS or email.
    However, Exemption from Entrance Test is given to the applicants of following categories

    • Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree and having a work experience of 10 years
    • Candidates possessing Qualifications such as M.Com / M.H.R.M / M.FT / MFM /MMM /CA / ICWA /ACS / MBBS / BL / BTech/ B Pharm / BSc Ag with 2 years of Work Experience after obtaining the respective PG or Professional Qualification.
  • Will the medium of instruction for all courses be in English?

    Yes in English except the second language paper.

  • How frequently will exams be conducted? Is there any fixed dates?
    • For B.A. and B.Com. UG Courses, Examinations will be conducted once in a year tentatively from 5th May.
    • For all other Courses, Examinations will be conducted at the end of each Semester tentatively from 5th December and 5th May of every year.
  • How long does it take for marks card to be printed?

    One month after Examinations are completed

  • Can we get sample marks card and sample certificate?

    Sample marks card and sample certificate will be exhibited in our Website soon.

  • What is the procedure for course change? Within how many days of original registration, can the student change? If yes, what is the fee applicable?
    • Normally Course change is not permitted.
    • However, if the Candidate desires to change, he/she has to apply in written within 15 days of provisional admission.
    • Course Change Fee is Rs. 1000/- for Domestic Candidates and $ 20 for International Students.
  • For female candidates (married), what are the extra documents required for the name?
    • Usually, whatever name is appearing in the Age Proof / SSC / 10th / Certificate issued by competent Revenue Authority / Passport copy will be considered for Course admitted.
    • However, if a female (married) wants to change the surname, she has to submit the original Gazette Notification of the Name change. She has to upload in the website and also submit attested Xerox copy.
    • Even any candidate irrespective of the gender, who wishes to have a name change, has to submit the appropriate Gazette Notification.
      Fee: University shall decide on Fee from time to time.
  • Which document will be the basis for the name of the candidate?

    Name as printed in SSC or 10th. In case of non availability of 10th or SSC, Date of Birth Certificate issued by revenue officials, / Passport copy / Notarized Date of Birth Certificate

  • Will NRIs be treated as foreign students? What are the different eligibility criteria for NRIs? Will equivalence fee be applicable?

    NRIs will be treated as foreign students.Eligibility criteria for admission into any course is same as that of domestic students.However, there is a need for establishing equivalence and if there is no equivalence readily approved by AIU (Association of Indian Universities) a committee for establishing equivalence will examine and establish equivalence on payment of $ 200. He or she has to produce a Certificate of NRI status obtained from the Embassy. Fee: NRI students must pay the fee prescribed for international students. (As per GOMS No.47 dated 19-07-2012 of Andhra Pradesh, NRI is defined as : a candidate born to a parent of Indian Origin residing outside the country” and who passed the qualifying examination or the equalized examination”.)
