  • What is an entrance test?

    When a student does not fulfil the eligibility of the courses then he/she needs to appear for a test designed to measure the candidate’s ability to think systematically, to employ the verbal and mathematical skills and to assess his/her aptitude for admission which is called as Entrance Test conducted by ANU – CDE.

  • For which courses the entrance test is applicable.

    The Entrance Test is applicable for the following courses:

    Under Graduate Courses
    • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
    • Bachelor of Commerce – General (Bcom-General)
    • Bachelor of Commerce –Computer Application(Bcom-CA)
    • Bachelor of Information Technology (BSc-IT)
    Post Graduate Courses
    • Master of Business Administration (MBA- all specialisations)
    • Master of Computer Application (MCA)
  • When will the Entrance test be held?

    The Entrance Test will be held in the month of June 2017 for the Jan 2017 Batch. The scheduled date shall be notified to students via mail and SMS.

  • Where would the Entrance test be held?

    The Entrance Test shall be held in Andhra Pradesh only at the centre that shall be located close to the student’s vicinity mostly in the exam centre area only but not necessarily the exam centre itself.

  • What is the duration of the Entrance Test?

    For UG Course the Entrance Test shall be for 2 hours and for PG Course the Entrance test shall be for 3 hours duration

  • What is the marks for the Entrance test and the passing criteria?

    For UG Course the Entrance Test shall be for 100 marks and 35 marks shall be passing marks and for PG Course the Entrance test shall be for 200 marks and the passing marks are 50.

  • What is the pattern of the Entrance Test?

    The Entrance Test shall include questions based on analytical ability, arithmetical ability, functional grammar and computer terminology. There shall be no negative marks.

  • What type of questions shall be asked in the Entrance Test?

    The Entrance Test for the UG Courses shall include all Multiple-Choice Questions and the PG Courses shall include Multiple Choice Questions and descriptive questions.

  • How do you apply for the Entrance Test?

  • What is the fees of Entrance Test and how do I pay the fees?

    The fees for entrance test is:

    • UG Courses – Rs 250
    • PG Courses – Rs 600

    The student can pay the fees online while paying the course fees

  • How do I get exemption from the Entrance test for the PG Courses?

    The Exemption from the Entrance test for the PG Courses are applicable as mentioned:

    M.B.A. Banking & Insurance

    Exemption from Entrance Test:

    • Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree and having 10 years of work experience after bachelors Degree are exempted from entrance test.
    • Candidates possessing Qualifications such as M.Com / M.H.R.M / M.FT / MFM /MMM /CA / ICWA /ACS / MBBS / BL / B. Tech/ B. Pharmacy / B. Sc Agriculture with 2 years of Work Experience after obtaining the respective PG or Professional Degree are exempted from entrance test .
    • Candidates possessing any Bachelor’s Degree( Other than BFA and BOL) with minimum of 2 years of work experience and are qualified in ICET during the last 3 years period or qualified in Management Aptitude test conducted by AIMA and National bodies are exempted from entrance test.
    • A candidate qualified in Entrance test conducted by CDE, ANU since November 2006 onwards are exempted from Entrance Test.

    M.B.A. Finance

    Exemption from Entrance Test:

    • Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree and having 10 years of work experience after bachelors Degree are exempted from entrance test.
    • Candidates possessing Qualifications such as M.Com / M.H.R.M / M.FT / MFM /MMM /CA / ICWA /ACS / MBBS / BL / B. Tech/ B. Pharmacy / B. Sc Agriculture with 2 years of Work Experience after obtaining the respective PG or Professional Degree are exempted from entrance test.
    • Candidates possessing any Bachelor’s Degree( Other than BFA and BOL) with minimum of 2 years of work experience and are qualified in ICET during the last 3 years period or qualified in Management Aptitude test conducted by AIMA and National bodies are exempted from entrance test.
    • A candidate qualified in Entrance test conducted by CDE, ANU since November 2006 onwards are exempted from Entrance Test.

    M.B.A. Marketing

    Exemption from Entrance Test:

    • Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree and having 10 years of work experience after bachelors Degree are exempted from entrance test.
    • Candidates possessing Qualifications such as M.Com / M.H.R.M / M.FT / MFM /MMM /CA / ICWA /ACS / MBBS / BL / B. Tech/ B. Pharmacy / B. Sc Agriculture with 2 years of Work Experience after obtaining the respective PG or Professional Degree are exempted from entrance test.

    • Candidates possessing Qualifications such as M.Com / M.H.R.M / M.FT / MFM /MMM /CA / ICWA /ACS / MBBS / BL / B. Tech/ B. Pharmacy / B. Sc Agriculture with 2 years of Work Experience after obtaining the respective PG or Professional Degree are exempted from entrance test.
    • Candidates possessing any Bachelor’s Degree( Other than BFA and BOL) with minimum of 2 years of work experience and are qualified in ICET during the last 3 years period or qualified in Management Aptitude test conducted by AIMA and National bodies are exempted from entrance test.
    • A candidate qualified in Entrance test conducted by CDE, ANU since November 2006 onwards are exempted from Entrance Test.

    M.B.A. Hospital Administration

    Exemption from Entrance Test:

    • Candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree and having 10 years of work experience after bachelors Degree are exempted from entrance test.
    • Candidates possessing Qualifications such as M.Com / M.H.R.M / M.FT / MFM /MMM /CA / ICWA /ACS / MBBS / BL / B. Tech/ B. Pharmacy / B. Sc Agriculture with 2 years of Work Experience after obtaining the respective PG or Professional Degree are exempted from entrance test.
    • Candidates possessing any Bachelor’s Degree( Other than BFA-Bachelor of Fine Arts and BOL-Bachelor of Oriental Language) with minimum of 2 years of work experience and are qualified in ICET during the last 3 years period or qualified in Management Aptitude test conducted by AIMA and National bodies are exempted from entrance test.
    • A candidate qualified in Entrance test conducted by CDE, ANU since November 2006 onwards are exempted from Entrance Test.

    MCA

    Exemption from Entrance Test:

    • Candidates with a rank in ICET during the last three years period are exempted from Entrance Test.
    • Candidates who have already qualified in Entrance Tests conducted by CDE, ANU since November 2012 onwards are exempted from Entrance Test.
      • A pass at 10th need not be insisted.
        • i) Candidate who passed directly qualifying examination with Mathematics, as one of the subjects in the Degree course is eligible for admission.
        • ii) Others who passed the qualifying examination without Mathematics, as one of the subjects in the Degree Course, are eligible for admission if they pass 10+2 Examination with Mathematics.
    • Candidates possessing any Bachelor’s Degree( Other than BFA-Bachelor of Fine Arts and BOL-Bachelor of Oriental Language) with minimum of 2 years of work experience and are qualified in ICET during the last 3 years period or qualified in Management Aptitude test conducted by AIMA and National bodies are exempted from entrance test.
    • A candidate qualified in Entrance test conducted by CDE, ANU since November 2006 onwards are exempted from Entrance Test.
  • When do I get exemption from the Entrance test for the UG Courses?

    B.Com. General

    Eligibility Qualification:

    A pass in 10+2 is eligible for admission into UG courses.

    Entrance Test

    Those who are seeking admission into UG courses with qualification of 10+2 equivalent from Open University System, or those who do not have formal qualification need to clear the ANUCDE Entrance Test.

    Age

    • Those seeking Admission for academic year commencing July, must have attained 18 completed years of age as on 1st July of the Year and produce an approved certificate of age like SSC/SBSC/ISC/ Notary and such.
    • Those seeking Admission for Calendar year commencing January, must have attained 18 completed years of age as on 1st January of the Year and produce an approved certificate of age like SSC/SBSC/ISC/ Notary and such.

    B.Com. Computer applications

    Eligibility Qualification:

    A pass in 10+2 is eligible for admission into UG courses.

    Entrance Test

    Those who are seeking admission into UG courses with qualification of 10+2 equivalent from Open University System, or those who do not have formal qualification need to clear the ANUCDE Entrance Test.

    Age

    • Those seeking Admission for academic year commencing July, must have attained 18 completed years of age as on 1st July of the Year and produce an approved certificate of age like SSC/SBSC/ISC/ Notary and such.
    • Those seeking Admission for Calendar year commencing January, must have attained 18 completed years of age as on 1st January of the Year and produce an approved certificate of age like SSC/SBSC/ISC/ Notary and such.

    B.Sc. (Information Technology)

    Eligibility Qualification:

    A pass in 10+2 is eligible for admission into UG courses.
